No call/No show and arriving late

I understand the hectic schedules of my clients.  I’m happy to try to accommodate and move appointments when given sufficient notice.  Please be gracious and cancel, if necessary, at least 24 hours before your appointment.  It can be difficult to fill last minute cancellations and cancelling with less than 24 hours notice has a direct impact on my business.  If you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be invoiced for the full amount of your session.  No further appointments will be accepted until this invoice is paid.  Late canceling/no showing will result in forfeiture of the gift certificate if that is the method of payment at the time of scheduling.

In the event you fail to show up for your appointment without giving notice, you will be invoiced for the full amount of your session.  No further appointments will be accepted until this invoice is paid.
In the event a client arrives late, the session may be shortened to maintain the schedule, and the client is still responsible for the full session cost.

Illness

If you think you’re ill, or “coming down with something” please call/text as soon as you can before your appointment.  It is within both of our best interest to reschedule appointments in this case.  Likewise, please understand if I have to reschedule because I am feeling ill.  This will help to keep us all healthy! Under certain medical conditions, massage/bodywork may not be advised, for example when a fever is present, infection, skin rashes, other illness or recent surgery.  If massage could be potentially harmful to a client’s condition, I reserve the right to decline to perform the massage.

Behavior

As a licensed massage therapist I follow a code of ethics for healthcare professionals.  All information you provide, written and verbal, will remain completely confidential as allowed by the law.  I will treat you fairly and ethically, and will establish an atmosphere of trust and decency during each session.  I ask the same in return from you. I have zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior.  In the event a client displays inappropriate behavior the session will end immediately.  The client will be charged the full amount of the session and asked to leave.  No future appointments will be accepted.  You will be appropriately covered at all times.  Full draping is required for every client, for the duration of the session, without exception.

Payment

Cash, debit, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Venmo, Apple Pay and PayPal are accepted.  I can also accept FSA/HSA cards as payment.  It is the responsibility of the client to contact their plan administrator to verify this is an approved expense, and if a physician’s note or prescription is required.
